Beginning School

I decided to create a page about Noah and Belle commencing school this year.... onto Belle's page next, but Noah's one is done so I'd thought I'd share that.  I used some gorgeous October Afternoon papers and was really pleased with how this came together.  Thankfully both of their uniforms are blue, so co-ordinating papers wasn't too difficult.

I can't say how much I looooove this photo!  Getting Noah to stay still for a photo is no mean feat, but Stef snapped this one and I was so pleased when he showed me afterwards.  How gorgeous is this little man...I mean really.....lol!  I wanted to record my thoughts about that first day and also the whole starting school thing, so I used half of the page for my handwritten journalling.  It's the first time I've written such a large block on a layout, but I really like how it looks, so I think I may replicate this entire layout when I do Belle's page. and a close up of what I made with my new toy....see that perfectly co-ordinating flower brad...I purchased the i -top tool by Imaginisce the other day and am a little bit excited...lol.  It is really easy to use and I was chuffed with how well my little brad came out :)  Thinkin' I may have to make a habit of this :)
